Gee Whillickers
I know, I know, these types of commericals all try too hard, are far too manipulative, etc. I agree. But this one actually works, though I'll admit I wasn't expecting it to. See what you think. http://sploid.gizmodo.com/this-incredibly-touching-ad-about-whisky-is-better-than-1518907838/@caseychan Quote Link to comment

The Pecman
Ah, that was a wonderful commercial that told a complete story, Gee. I think you have to be born to have a love of reading, and that was something I had I think from the age of 5 or 6 on. I believe I had a library card from the public library when I was maybe 8, and was making regular trips every week to check out several books at a time. It's hard to grasp the idea that somebody could be illiterate, but it's a warm thought that people can overcome their limitations and eventually be a whole person. The idea of living without being able to read is beyond any experience I can imagine. Quote Link to comment
