All such recent rulings have had the judge stay the decision while the state appeals. This judge has not done so. However, since he made his ruling after business on Friday, the state will probably act before Monday morning, preventing any gay marriages from taking place. Quote Link to comment

Would a political conservative who isn't religious -- assuming such an animal exists -- care whether gay marriages occur? I guess they would. They seem to object to everything.
