Rutabaga
Seems like someone ought to start a thread for this new short story, so I will. It also seems to me that the story lives up to its title on a number of levels. R Quote Link to comment
colinian
It's here. Read it. You'll be glad you did. It tells us about real life for a lot of teens. Colin Quote Link to comment
Hoskins
Yeah, this was tough to read but worth every minute, I liked it, and I'll read it again soon. The ideas James brings forth are sometimes hard to work through on the first read, especially when you've lived a bit of the story. Thanks for sharing it, James. Quote Link to comment
JamesSavik
Many people may have missed this but Getting to the Happily Ever After is actually the sequel to the Place in Between. It goes in this order: the Place in Between Getting to the Happily Ever After There will be a third which has the working title Nightfall. I think we'll have it this spring. Quote Link to comment
Gil Saul
I recognized the characters from the earlier story and was glad to find out more about them. Thanks for including the links to the music videos. I was a teenager in the 1970s, but I never concentrated on learning about the different bands. If my car radio had come equipped with video of the singers, I would have paid a lot more attention to who was who (and wrecked the car). Quote Link to comment
