Camy
Terry Pratchett died today. He was 66 and had early-onset Alzheimers. I adored Pratchett; I always thought that one day I'd get to meet him. Bugger. 'The Colour of Magic' quite blew me away, but my favourite Discworld book was, without doubt, MORT. And then there is 'The Long Earth' series that he wrote with Stephen Baxter... brilliant. Hey ho. Another one bites the dust. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Terry_Pratchett Link to comment
colinian
That's so sad. He's one of my favorite authors, regardless of genre. What a horrible way to go. Like Camy, I would have liked to meet him. I agree with Camy, "Bugger!" Colin Link to comment
Merkin
So sad. The breadth and quality of his imagination could not be matched. Link to comment
