  1. Damn. I have now run out of stories by gee w to read. I have to venture into the unknown now, and find another author...
  2. The makes a lot more sense scientifically, and converting-ly 1 tonne = 1000 kilograms = 1000000 grams.
  3. Just to be clear, this is now my favourite novel on this website, that I have read, It one of the only ones that caused tears for me. If my only complaint is that it was not long enough, then that is good, right? The story line is publishable, people would be interested in this (if you removed the move gay scenes, such as cock grabbing, and masturbation.) It could be as large as the hunger games. I look forward to reading more of your stories.
  4. Very good read. You could easily have made it into a trilogy of full size books, there are a lot spaces to expand. You could have ended the first when he was captured, and continued the second with the escape and the taking of that state. The final could be taking of all the states. I understand the effort you put into this, though. It would be nice for it to be longer, particularly with the rebels at the end, and the character dev at the beginning at high school. But anyway, well done on this story.
  5. Oh, I forgot pints. Are gallons imperial too?
  6. I am not sure about the bumping guidelines- but I'll post anyway. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I felt connected to the characters, and I was euphoric at the end. I felt the ecstasy of the win at the end.
  7. That is disgusting. He must have gone private, as you wouldn't get that on the NHS.
  8. England uses the metric system in most cases. Exceptions: Height of a person (feet, inches) Weight* of a person (stone, pounds) Speed of vehicles (miles per hour) Distance of roads (miles) Yards are gone, only existing in archaic signs. Metres are used for most distances, except on road signs. Killigrams and metric tonnes are used for weight. * properly it should be mass, but oh well. I like Tom Daley. I thought he was gay before he came out. Then again, he does wear speedos for his job...
  9. This story really got me thinking about the issues. Could I do what Kenneth did? I don't think i could. I suppose because I haven't experienced love that strong yet. The novel was amazingly written, with excellent grammar and sentence structure. You have an epic vocabulary. One problem I had was not realising that the viewpoint changes characters, which confused me until the third chapter. It is pretty obvouis, in hindsight. There are massive titles at the top saying the character. Some books use different fonts to denote different characters.
  10. I am a computer scientist. He is the person I look up to, academically. It really is a shame he 'committed suicide' - he could have made so many more contributions to the field. The treatment by the police was horrible - ignoring his report because he was gay, and then prosecuting him (and cutting his nuts off). I liked this story, well done. I like the style. I also find it amusing how nobody mentions his name in the topic.
  11. I think the majority of Muslims are as harmless as the majority Christians. The radical/extremists scare me, but they are in minority. I like cultural variety, and they improve a country, IMO. I feel just the same about calls to prayers and church bells: don't wake me up in the morning. And don't try to convert me.
  12. I liked this video. Very well written, and directed. The main character is good looking, IMO. Stereotypically effemine though.
  13. There is no way I can see to change the theme on a mobile - there is no settings any where, or a theme link.
  14. Heaetbleed is such a dramatic term for a bug that leaks data.
  15. Some posts on the forum override their text's colour to a light colour such as white or gray. When accessing the forums from a mobile /cell phone, the forum is a light page- white background, black text. Posts with white text do not show up. To fix this: 1) update the mobile stylesheet to make it dark page. 2) stop changing colours in posts.
  16. I use this service, and I use Ubuntu. It is a shame, Ubuntu one has a simple upload interface, and easy sharing. I have now moved all my files to drop box, but there will still be dead links everywhere :(
  17. Well done again. It makes a good point about the common misconceptions of gay people. I like how your stories are all mostly about one character who is withdrawn and antisocial being helped into life by a kind character. TIM, JE, Sebastian 1. :P
  18. It's magnetic waves, not electrons. It may play havoc with a pace maker, but shouldn't affect your body. It will be VERY inefficient, though.
  19. I started crying when I read this on BBC news. Crying with hope. Hope of a better world.

I love this! It is publish worthy! I am currently half way though part 2 - at the bit where he tells his dad. I can't put it down, and now it is mid night. Shame I have to go to sleep. Thank you for making this available, Gwilym.
  21. I loved reading this story. I am a gay teen, and this novel is the best one IMO so far. Keep up the good work.
