DesDownunder
The local Murdoch Newspaper just outdid itself for misuse of the language. Premier Mike Rann, South Australia's incumbent head of government has announced he will lead his party at the next election in 2010. 'The News' has published the following poll. Am I the only one who sees the poll as unanswerable in its present form? Should Mike Rann stay or should he go? Submit your vote now. Please select an option Yes No Link to comment
colinian
That poll reminds me of an old song, "Should I Stay or Should I Go" by the Clash. Our local radio station plays this a lot. Anyway, I'd vote No. That means Mike Rann should not stay nor should he go. As a result, maybe he'll implode from the stress. Colin Link to comment
Trab
Good God. They need remedial poll taking lessons. A basic Yes/No poll requires only ONE question. That is truly ugly, and they will obviously use the results to prove anything they darned well want. Link to comment
Cole Parker
It would be funny to see the eyes of the politically intense light up at the thought of being able to participate in this matter, grab pen or pencil, then suddenly realize they had no idea how to actually vote. Delightful. Des, tell us how the poll comes out, won't you? Hee hee hee. C Link to comment
The Pecman
I wouldn't touch that with a 10-foot poll. Link to comment
Cole Parker
Ouch! Or maybe a ten-foot Pole? C Link to comment
