Not only is he cute, he's socially well-adjusted. Pretty amazing, and lucky he had the parents he did.

That is great. I've said for years that the line between genius and madness is often very blurry, and in fact, I have an autistic kid in my current novel -- one who can memorize dates and historical data like a computer. I find it incredibly frustrating that we're still so far away from understanding enough about the human brain to solve these problems. I continue to hope that someday, we'll be able to manipulate our own DNA and fix these problems from the inside out.
