Cole Parker
Nigel Gordon's newest short story is a charming, macabre delight. Succinct and powerful. Enjoy! http://www.awesomedude.com/nigel_gordon/a-fitting-occupation-for-a-queer/a-fitting-occupation-for-a-queer.htm Link to comment
Nick Deverill
Indeed. It's a well researched period piece. I could readily imagine it as a short film. Link to comment

Jeff Ellis
Yes indeed. Delightfully nuanced, very British. Shades of the Cambridge spy ring. Link to comment
FreeThinker
Absolutely brilliant! One of the best stories I have read on Awesome Dude and something that should be required reading in our schools. Nigel gives us a very valuable lesson on the need for those of us square pegs who don't fit in to round holes. I see ominous parallels between the world he describes and certain movements and ways of thinking in America today. There are none so wicked as those who ask, "Why?" Link to comment
