I think last year was dropping the objection to gay scouts. This is about allowing gay scout leaders.

BSA has a big problem now. Different Councils are playing by different rules.

Some are going their own way and are accepting gay leaders and scouts.

Others are doubling down on the old exclusionary policies.

They are in real danger of splitting into a Mormon backed boys organization and the traditional BSA operating under a new policy. Some insiders are saying that what is going on internally is akin to a civil war.

To be perfectly honest, I really do expect them to split because some of the councils are very hard care and simply refuse to accept gay scouts or leaders.
