Why is it I get a VERY uncomfortable image of Desilu dancing around his BF's video store singing at the top of his lungs? Not that theres anything wrong with dancing around. I just think there should be video footage at least. Can you imagine the response we'd get if we posted that on youtube. And if there is going to be any touching, I want to be first and the last. Even though I'm from the "ME GENERATION" and not accustomed to sharing, I'd let you touch as much as you want. Though I am a bit disturbed that I'm making such personal requests in such a public forum. It seems that I helped reduce your blog to a place where sleazy boys can feel comfortable propositioning you for sexual favors. Bravo Blue,I actually gave a lot of time to writing a gay version of Romeo and Juliette.I considered West Side Story's plot in that exercise.I looked at revamping the story in several different ways, even having a modern character go on a journey of discovery to find that Shakespeare's story was based on a "real" life boy- boy relationship.Alas and alack, and a lick of a lad...it is really a complex and difficult idea to do properly because the research indicates way too many historical (real) derivatives dating all the way back to ancient Sparta of the boy-girl origins.The fabrication of such a historical disruption to the well known story would require enormous amount of work to make it work with anything like the realism required. In the end I gave up because I just couldn't give the time it needed to do it justice. Maybe a parallel story would work best as this would not displace the original but show how all youthful love had its dangers and rewards. It seems a variation of the original is the best way to go as in West Side Story.
