  1. I just like the smell and feel of a book... the front always tells me what I am reading, and I can loan it out to friends. I have used the eBook readers, and even got the AD book on one, but still... what would go on all my shelves? Bottles of beer I did not drink?
  2. I have only seen this jerk in re-runs, but can definitely say... What a dweeb! In a 100 years kids will study the rough years leading up to marriage equality, but no one will remember this idiot.
  3. I am not sure if this movie has been rated yet by AD guys, but I wanted to do it in support of one of the most important persons in my life. Jet Boy is a very intense movie that might make you cry, cheer, or just get mad. I hope so. The story happens everyday, over and over. We have both been there, done that. You can find it on Youtube: under Jet Boy... the media is too long for the bandwidth, about an hour and a half. Thanks for listening.
  4. 13. Learn how to use pronouns correctly! "He and me went to the movies" does not look good, anywhere. While you are at it, teach the newscasters and movie stars as well.
  5. Nice... it would be nicer if it worked with windows instead of just Mac.
  6. Yes, he is forreal. I have "talked" to him a couple of times. Like most kids, he is looking for acceptance... to be seen.
  7. Yep, today a new friend of mine in Zimbabwe said all you guys were "intellectuals and sages of high merit"... so clean up your act, ok?! I for one have to think hard about writing contactions. It's very difficult for me. And I have never texted, not once!
  8. It is not the praying that is interesting, it is the answers!
  9. Hahahahahahahaha!!!! Perfect! Is it not sort of funny that George Takei did not let his gay-side slip out from behind Capt. Kirk, till the movies, and recent Big Bang Theory episodes?

    The Move

I thought the story quite good... maybe he acquired and editor around the third chapter.
  11. Ben, As always, you have given as good as they. I hope I can look back on my teens and see myself when I am older. Our family has a wide range of religions and religious beliefs, most of which are not religously followed... From Buddhist to agnostic to nothing other than just the golden rule.
  12. Yes, they can! And, yes, they are double-dipping... but, all is fair when it comes to the "Lord's work", right? And, with so many translations of the Bible, it is easy for any whackjob to give credence to their own interpretations. Luckily, I do not have to live by a book. I live by good examples.
  13. I have been told by my resident Christian, who is a Roman Catholic, the translation of this parable was incorrect. It is not a camel through the needle's eye, but a rope. That makes more sense when you think about it. As for donating profits... are you kidding? Tax-free profits I might add.
  14. I second the "eye contact and blushing" bit. Those I know say it's the twinkle in their eyes that let them know... but maybe that's just tears cause someone didn't bathe. Paco
  15. He is the kind of man who only wants to hear is own opinions and have you pay for them. Paco
  16. I know that it's good to write about bad experiences. You don't always have to share the writings but it helps. Paco
  17. Want embarrassing? Try walking in on your dad and his partner singing and dancing to a Ronan Parke video.
  18. Again, Thanks guys! Even though I live in a state with the largest legal marijuana farm, I no longer partake of any illegal drugs. (I do not count wine) The 'rents would probably strangle me!
  19. So, what do you put in your wobbly-pops?
  20. Thank you, you are both gentlemen and scholars. It is sort of amazing over 20 views, but only two replies. I think weed and alcohol will be the drugs of choice. Glue is a possibility, but usually used to curb appetite, and so you do not care any longer... cheap too. The info was for a writing project in a summer class. Again, thank you.
  21. We all have bad days... Welcome back!
  22. I need a little imput.... Not having grown up all of my time in the US, can someone give me an idea of the typical types of drugs (illegal) used by preteen and teens. I used glue for a specific reason, but I was thinking more in line of recreational drugs. My cutoff age would be around 14. Thanks in advance.
  23. Sorry about that.... My brain and my mouth(fingers) have been disconnected lately. I forgot where I was in the forums. Talk about ADD.
