vwl
Author Driver has been silent for too long, but his stories still are available. One called The Quarry has been reposted at: http://www.dabeagle.net/storymainpages/QuarryHome.html One of the best authors. Link to comment
Cole Parker
I've read that a few times. And many of his others. It's really too bad that he quit writing gay-themed stories. C Link to comment
Merkin
Still one of my favorite web writers. He set the tone for many of us aspiring to write worthwhile gay fiction. You can find all of his work that is (I believe) currently still available here: http://www.storiesbydriver.net/ Link to comment
JamesSavik
I read that way back when in the nineties. It had a lot of 70s nostalgia in it before it was popular. Falling Off a Log was a lot of fun too. Lot's of the old giants don't write for free anymore. I miss them. Link to comment
Cole Parker
Me too. They also seem to just disappear with no reason given. Seems like we have a club and some members just drop out. C Link to comment
Trab
If I remember correctly, Driver is under my contacts as Dan Driver. We haven't been in contact for quite some years, but he was very sick towards the end of our contacts. Something debilitating and causing him much pain. Just typing emails to me was both exhausting and excruciating, so we just stopped. He was being supported by a very close family, including his wife. At the rate of his decline over the years we chatted, I doubt he is still around. I never did find out his actual name, but he was a musician in an award winning group, but quit in order to love his family better. Link to comment
