He's kidding on the square, and he's great for taking a stand, and even better for inviting everyone to join in and laugh with him at the folly of it all.

Thank you, George Takei, for being so excellent. It was wonderful to find out that the man who played Mr. Sulu on Star Trek is an out, gay man with a partner of many years.

Also, you can see him currently playing a recurring guest role as Hiro's father in the wonderful series, Heroes on NBC.
