Splish Splash

by Camy

Splish-splash

Hand in the hand the boy and girl

run giggling through the surf.

Dish-dash

She has eyes for him,

but he has eyes for another ... boy.

Splish-smash

Tears run down her face as

she realises true love is no disgrace.

Kiss-kiss

Hands in hands they are three.

Maybe odd, but still a loving family.

Let's say it's somewhere between that and Rub-a-dub-dub, Three men in a tub. Only one's a woman. Oh, how times change.

Hmm, three men in a tub.... Shhh, Blue, you'll burst a bubble....

Quite liked this poem, Camy.
