FreeThinker
The forty thousand members of One Million Moms, a "subsidiary" of everyone's favorite Hate Group, the AFA, is organizing a boycott of The New Norm, a new sitcom on NBC about a gay couple who get a surrogate mom to give birth to their child. http://insidetv.ew.com/2012/07/20/new-normal-protest/?hpt=hp_t2 After the brilliant success of their JC Penney and Oreo boycotts, (NOT), they must be feeling their oats. JamesSavik
By my calculation, they are 960,000 quacks short of a six-pack. Quote Link to comment
Paul_and_Paco
They can go have dinner after their march at the Chick-Fil-A. What a bunch of schmucks! (I would have said schmoes, but "Stooge-adge" does not translate for idiots.) Quote Link to comment
dude
Actually, as 'mothers' they would technically be Schmooies rather than Schmucks Quote Link to comment
JamesSavik
I prefer the term haggis. Quote Link to comment

The Pecman
"40,000 Moms" doesn't have that much of a ring to it. Note that the name of the show is The New Normal, co-created by Ryan Murphy (of Glee and American Horror Story). The promos leave me indifferent so far: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nJfBZxUlzhY But I'm glad it's inflaming the religious right. Quote Link to comment
colinian
I have so got to watch this! I've heard it's being pulled by stations in the Midwest and South. But I know it won't be pulled in the Bay Area so I'm going to get to watch it. Yes!! Colin Quote Link to comment
Paul_and_Paco
Yea, we will have to look on the computer if we are going to see it. Just stupid. You would think Comcast would be the same all over. Quote Link to comment
colinian
It starts September 11. I don't know if our local NBC channels will carry this show, but I assume so. Their schedule stops on August 5th. Colin Quote Link to comment
