Cyber-blackmailers 'abusing hundreds of UK children'

Hundreds of British children are being blackmailed into performing sex acts online, the Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre has warned.

Abusers posing online as children talk victims into sexual acts or sharing of images, then threaten to send pictures to the child's family and friends.

I'm fast losing faith in the supposed 'inherent goodness of humanity.'

That's truly awful. People are always finding new ways to hurt other people. I hope those on trial, which is probably drop in the bucket, are dealt with harshly. People who have no humanity themselves shouldn't be expecting it from others.

This has been going on for some time. If it's not blackmail, it's bribery.

I remember seeing some years ago that a kid was busted for creating kiddie porn and was being paid by Amazon gift cards.

There's a reason the law is hard on child pornographers. The creeps that make the stuff are willing to play some very ugly games to get it made.
