Lugnutz
What happens in New Zealand when a principal decides to pitch the playtime rulebook? Surprisingly, it's much better than you would think. See for yourself. Quote Link to comment
Graeme
Intriguing I will say that when my son broke a bone in the school yard, I didn't even think of suing the school he goes to. It was just one of those things that happens. Quote Link to comment
Cole Parker
That's very good. Let kids be kids. They're more resilient than you'd think, and they understand limits. C Quote Link to comment

Cole Parker
Too true, James. Too many people trying to get rich without earning it. C Quote Link to comment
Lugnutz
The way they get away with it is because of the insurance down under. Quote Link to comment
Graeme
That's more just New Zealand. They have an Accident Compensation Commission that pays out for all accidents. Thus there's less incentive to try pointing fingers to get money. Instead, fingers are pointed to try to prevent the same sort of accident again. In other words, looking at what happened for the right reason, not just to save/make money. Australia doesn't have the same. There are schemes in place for compensation for work-related injuries and vehicle-related injuries, but nothing global like New Zealand has. Quote Link to comment
