Cole Parker
Yes! That echos my view of this exactly. It agrees of what I've read several times over the years. This book was not published because Lee wanted it published. She vehemently expressed the opposite. But they overrode the wishes of an old, feeble woman for the sake of making money. I'm not buying a copy, or reading it. C Quote Link to comment
FreeThinker
Rupert Murdoch. I should have known. Whenever there's a stench of fraud, Rupert Murdoch can't be far away. Quote Link to comment
larkin
Her book is piled high on the counter going out of Barnes and Noble at 30% off.. Quote Link to comment
Cole Parker
Most bestselling books are sold at either 20% or 30% off and B&N. I buy most of my books there, and buy hardcovers for less that paperbacks. Much less. Of course, they're a year old or so. C Quote Link to comment
Merkin
Selling a new title at 30% off still gives B&N a 20% markup over its actual cost. Quote Link to comment
