Camy
Microsoft is warning Windows Vista users that a forthcoming service pack for the operating system may stop some third-party programs working. The software giant has released a list of programs that may be broken by the SP1 update for Vista. *sighs* I'm not surprised, and very grateful that I still run 2000. Microsoft with Vista SP1 (like Apple with Leopard) has been working with the software vendors and in almost every case there is an update available today that is VSP1 compatible. DesDownunder
I just got XP back setup on my PC and I really don't think I can cope with Vista in any form. I hate the UAC, I detest the look of Vista and the way it wants to do things its way, instead of the correct way -mine. Office 2007 looks like a ghost of previous offices, so I am back on 2003, besides which I am old and cranky. My desk chair is falling apart, the keyboard keeps making spelling eras, My new LCD flat screen is a bit strange, and the floor needs sweeping. And it is all Microsoft's fault. So there! Cole Parker
At least you didn't mention any complaints about your parts down under. C Quote Link to comment
DesDownunder
My downunder parts are neither soft nor micro, and no, you cannot have a photo of them. Quote Link to comment

Madrigal
About a week ago, I had to put an extra 1Gb of Ram into my laptop, as the 1012 Mb storage just wasn't doing it. I might just switch back to XP... my laptop will be much better off if I do so. Maddy (: Quote Link to comment
