Rutabaga
A camera and microphone installed next to the nest of a mating pair of bald eagles in Big Bear, California bring live coverage of starting a family. As of this afternoon, the mama eagle has just laid her second egg, and it's possible a third will be added soon. See it all here. R Link to comment

Rutabaga
From what I can tell, you can rewind the YouTube feed up to 12 hours. In the chat column, updates are posted with a big red ball and they give time readouts for various events, such as one bird landing and the other leaving, papa bringing mama a fish, etc. You go by the timestamp at the bottom of the picture. J is the mama (Jackie) and S is papa (Shadow). R Link to comment
Rutabaga
A quick note -- one egg has hatched and a fuzzy little eagle chick is now in the nest. The second egg has not done anything, and may be a dud. Here is a clip from Monday showing the little eaglet getting breakfast. R Link to comment
Rutabaga
The chick (now named Spirit) has gotten pretty big in a month+. Don't be fooled by this thumbnail. Link to comment
dude
Amazing... and this is all happening miles from where I am living! Link to comment
Rutabaga
The "baby" has now taken flight but still hangs out at the nest from time to time, with one or both parents. Shadow (the papa) brings a nice juicy fish every so often. R Link to comment
