Morris Schwartz is on his deathbed. He is with his nurse, his wife, his daughter and two sons, and knows the end is near. So he says to them:

"Bernie, I want you to take the Beverly Hills houses."

"Sybil, take the apartments over in Los Angeles Plaza."

"Hymie, I want you to take the offices over in City Center."

"Sarah, my dear wife, please take all the residential buildings downtown"

The nurse is just blown away by all this, and as Morris slips away, she says to the wife, "Mrs. Schwartz, your husband must have been a remarkable and hard working man to have accumulated so much property."

Sarah replies, "Property my ass .... the schmuck had a newspaper route

No, it was very funny, Cole. I adore good comedy, especially when it is about real life situations. In that I have always enjoyed comedians like Bill Cosby, the king of real life humor. Coming in second I would nominate Billy Crystal. View this and tell me you don't agree:

I like jokes where the punch line is unexpected. So frequently you can guess where it is going. This one, I couldn't.

Billy Crystal is great. He's never met a situation he couldn't do schtick to. But I'll go with Bill Crosby as my number one. Old men know it all, and he's still touring, believe it or not. Anybody remember 'Noah'? Sublime.
