A story that only confirms that pride in yourself happens long before the parades begin.

The early years, long before the Stonewall riots, a man had to reach his own understanding about being gay. Des has set us up with a classic intergenerational story that could very well be autobiographical, but I won't ask. A lovely story.

The library visit in search of the definition of homosexuality was indeed autobiographical. The rest was imagination that surprised me after I had seen what I had written. Codey gave me the idea for the title.
