  1. LOL....not big balls...overconfidence and a lack of planning!!! I think I need to clarify things a little. I really thought I'd get away with it. All these computer people in the forum and not one ever said "by the way Codey, if you ever decide to do something stupid at school, remember that in a network they have ways of knowing what computer on the network a message was sent from." LOL I thought I was safe hidden behind a fake id and password (nevermind where I got them...your secret's safe...for now...but remember next time to explain what you meant by only using the computers in the library!!!) I would also like to say it was all Thirdeye's fault!! I got the idea after reading his Church Bulletins post. Yes Blue....that certain family unit member's reaction is what I'm sweating out now. Hopefully the week spent in NV will have him so mellowed (or tired) out that he'll take it easy on me...I'm not getting my hopes up too much tho. lol Hummmmmmm...I wonder if he'll buy the excuse about lingering effects of the flu? :-k
  2. This morning I recieved a 30 day restriction from posting on our schools intraschool network. I also recieved a 30 day suspension from organized sport activities (what's up with that? LOL). I was accused of posting non school related material on the network....I'm taking this to the US Supreme Court!!! Here is the post I made. New Course Gay male Sexuality and Safe Sex Practices March, 02, 2005 School administration officials are happy to announce a new course, available to students on a voluntary enrollment plan. Due to the nature of same sex schools such as ours, and in the interests of experimentation, school officials today have instituted a new learning experience course. This course has been designed by leading experts in the field and will be made available to any student who can demonstrate an accepted degree of pubertorial development. Beginners classes will be held weekly as an integrated part of the homeroom experience and all instructors will be furnished an ample supply of Bananas, cucumbers and zucchini squash, to illustrate the various themes, by the school cafeteria. Advanced classes will be held nightly in Evers Residence room 69. Classes will start 15 minutes following lights out. These advanced classes will be a hands on learning experience and will require student participation, so be prepared before you come. Our school administrators are proud to be in the vanguard of this new and stimulating educational field. They feel this will be an arousing experience for all participants.
  3. James, I agree with Elecivil. The poems are good as stand alones, but are much better as a grouping. It seems like they were meant to be together. Codey

  7. Poetry is medicine for the poets soul. If it helps someone else and they enjoy it then so much the better. A little sugar helps the medicine go down so if a little masturbatory exercise shakes your tree then more power to you. What's important to me, in my poetry, is the feeling behind the poem. Nothing else matters. If you are able to convey to the reader the feelings you had that made you write the poem, then the poem was a good one. Codey
  8. snashpots and conjugating...hummm...sounds like a Dr. Suess plot. The cat in the hat spied green eggs and ham he promptly ran over and ate the lot this wasn't a good idea, no not at all he got conjugated and puked in the snashpot. ok...been a while since I read suess
  9. i like this one too....you should write more poetry. Codey
  10. TR, This was beautiful!!! It had the right balance between good and bad memories. It kind of evoked sad and happy feelings at the same time. It actually teared me up but gave me a good feeling at the same time. I love this poem!!! Codey PS; this poem's on the mainsite only for those of you wondering what I'm talking about

  13. Hi Rainbow, Welcome to the forum. I liked your poem. I too advocate for teen suicide awareness. It's a subject that a lot don't want to address It's almost like not talking about it, will make it go away. Nothing could be farther from the truth. Everyone should checkout the White Ribbon Campaign. http://w-ribbon.tripod.com/. The more people learn what to watch for, the more likely they'll be able to see the signs in a friend or family member. Seeing the early warning signs could save a life. It might shock some to know that, by far, young gay males are the highest risk catagory. I think I'll recommend to Dude to link to WRC from the homepage of the main site. I don't know why I hadn't thought of it before. Thanks for reminding me. Codey
  14. Something I could do while sick...lol Moments and Memories a poem by Codey The beauty of a brilliant sunrise at the breaking of a new dawn. The glory in a sunset when the day is nearly gone. The miracle of your newborn child when you first gaze into their eyes. The loss that's overwhelming, when an old friend dies The majesty of mountains with snow covered peaks. The anger of an ocean and the damage that it wreaks. We all experience these moments frozen slices of time. We keep these moments stored as snapshots in our mind. These moments are tied to memories with a bond that none can sever. These moments may last just seconds but the memories will last forever.
  15. This is a poem I've been working on for awhille, about a very special little boy....one of my "adopted" little brothers. The Adventures of Billy, A Kid a poem by Codey Billy, a kid, is five years old and lives out on a ranch. Billy is the bravest of the brave, not afraid to take a chance. He jumped off of the old red shed into a pile of straw below. His face was plastered with a smile as he shouted "GERONIMO!!!!" When he climbed out of that pile of straw, the same smile was on his face. He then took off towards the barn with the dogs a giving chase. On the way to the barn he got distracted by a lizard with a long floppy tail. It wasn't long until he and the dogs were hot on that lizards trail. Thru the sage and thru the grass that lizard didn't stand a chance. Billy grabbed the lizard and the lizard bit Billy then Billy did a funny little dance. Seeing its' chance for freedom, the lizard hid in a big pile of rocks. Billy searched and searched but the lizard was gone but he did find an old tin box. Billy came running across the yard, that box clutched to his breast. "Gramps! Codey! Look what I found! I think it's a treasure chest!" "That box holds more than treasure," Gramps said, "and is worth much more than gold. The box holds some of my memories, I buried it when twelve years old." Then Gramps pulled out his pocketknife and gently pried off the lid. Inside we found some papers and a picture of Gramps as a kid. We thought, after seeing the papers and picture, "This seems like a cool thing to do!" So off we went on a treasure hunt for pictures and mementos too. After placing our treasures in the box, the lid was firmly replaced. Then back to the rocks, Billy carried the box with our memories safely encased. We reburied the box in that pile of rocks so that, in a future time, it would be there, carefully hidden, for another kid to find. Then Billy saw an old momma cat, sitting and cleaning her fur He knew she had kittens in the barn and he was determined to find where they were. He searched the whole barn over, both up the ladder and down. And, finally, behind some bales of hay, the kittens all were found. But then his mom called " Supper!!" so he didn't have time to play, and he knew, as soon as he left, they'd be moved to a new hiding place But there'd always be tomorrow to launch another search. he'd change his clothes and start the hunt as soon as he got home from church. Suppertime was noisy, as Billy told us his tales. He told us all about his day and left out no details. But as the evening grew quiet, Billy began to nod his head. "Bath time Billy," his momma said, "and then it's off to bed." He gathered up his bath toys, including his rubber frog, Toady. "I've got to go take a bath now," he said, "or I'll be stinking like Jon and Codey." I laughed and smacked his butt, as he left to take his bath, he turned around and looked at me, as if I'd done something rash. He only thought for a second, then he told me with a smirk, "Ha ha ha, you hit like a girl, and that didn't even hurt! Now you have to read me a story," he said, "before I'll go to bed!" Billy complained, as usual, about having to go to bed. but before too long, he was fast asleep, with the story not even half read. Billy the kid gladdens my heart in a way that can no other. He reminds me that life's an adventure, and I'm glad he's my little brother. Thru him, I see a slice of my past and all the things I did, and I'm happy I have a small little role, in the adventures of Billy, a kid.
  16. Very nice.....happy memories are forever!!!
  17. It musta been a prosepropagator that hi-jacked the thread.....rhymeslingers would never be that devious O:) :smt083
  18. forever kind of love a poem by codey When you're home alone and he's not there but you feel his presence everywhere, and in a crowd it's his face you seek, then he smiles at you and your knees go weak. That's a forever kind of love. When life gets rough and you're feeling blue and he shows up to comfort you, wraps you in his arms and gives you a hug, you get a warm feeling and feel safe and snug. That's a forever kind of love. When you have the flu and stomach distress, he never complains while cleaning the mess, he lays at your side ignoring the smell and silently prays for you to get well. That's a forever kind of love. If you're feeling sad he can be a clown, if you're feeling upset he can calm you down. He reads your feelings as easily as a book and can tell what you're thinking with just a quick look. That's a forever kind of love. When our life journey's done and it's time to move on, we'll stand side by side to face a new dawn, and walk hand in hand into the great unknown, forever together and never alone. Ours is a forever kind of love.

  24. Here's a song a friend and wrote last night Broken Heart a song by Nate and Codey verse 1: we swore to love forever and we meant it at the time we'd always be together with a future so sublime but now you've found another and I've been left with this sad song I walk alone in darkness and I'm wondering what went wrong Chorus: if there were no stars, there'd be no heaven if there were no moon, there'd be no lovers If there were no lovers, there'd be no broken hearts Now since there is no you , there is no me verse 2: Now the moon and stars are hiding they don't want to see my tears and the lovers all are crying for the pain that I feel and when I now look upward there's no heaven in sight my heaven has turned to hell and my happieness taken flight verse 3: will the sun come out tomorrow and drive these shadows from my mind will it heal this broken heart with the warmth it leaves behind will it ease this pain within me by the ending of the day or is this pain I feel forever going to stay verse 4: I know that given time, this broken heart will mend but even given time, these painful memories won't end but fade into mere whispers in the background of my mind forever there to wander with the dreams I've left behind repeat chorus For since there is no you, there is no me end

Passive, Thanx dude, that's one of the nicest compliments I've ever gotten. I try to make my poems understandable, with out causing brain freeze, so more people will enjoy them.
