Trab
I was aiming for a Flash Fiction, but ended up with something more like a poem. Jack Off By Trab, 2008 Jack on. Jack off. Jack on. Loose nuts. Spent rubber. Endless memories of roads traveled, Adventures experienced, and, always, Home. Jack off. Jack on. Jack off. New rim. New rubber. Tight nuts. Endless anticipation of roads to travel, New adventure, and, always, Home. Jack on. Jack off. Jack on. Roads rough. Roads smooth. Soaring heights. Deep depressions. Punctures. Tracks. Sleepless nights. Hopes. Fears. And, always, Sweet home. Quote Link to comment
Cole Parker
That's simply great, Trab. For someone with no sense of literary allusion or literary perspective, the fact you could write that boggles the mind. C Quote Link to comment
Bruin Fisher
Fantastic! You don't write poetry (?) I don't like poetry (?) But you wrote it and I read it and I love it. It's fully of symbolism, imagery, allusion - you really mastered the art. I read it again, and again, and again, as you do with all the best poetry. It reads and has meaning on multiple levels. So clever, kudos to Trab! Bruin Quote Link to comment
DesDownunder
I agree with Cole and Bruin, Masterful stuff Trab. Quote Link to comment
Madrigal
And I agree with everyone else, this was really great! The topic is not my favorite lol, but as Bruin said it has many meanings and that's what sold me. I demand you get rid of the disclaimer :P. Maddy (: Quote Link to comment

Camy
Wonderful, Trab! You should cross post it in the poetry forum, too ... for those that might not visit our little neck of the woods. Camy Quote Link to comment
Trab
As far as I know, the poetry section of the forums is only for discussion. I believe Flash Fiction and the Bull Pen are the only two places you actually post works within the forum. Quote Link to comment
