Camy
Part of the 'Coming Out Challenge' Arggggh! I can't really tell you anything about Altimexis's 'Counterculture,' because if I do it'll spoil a great story. I can say it's well written (naturally). I can say it's a sweet tale and there's nothing particularly nasty in it. I can even say that the protagonist doesn't end up running away from home. But that's it. Read it, do! Quote Link to comment
bi_janus
A lovely tale of anxiety from an unexpected source. Immediately after reading the story, I sent the link to the story to my son. Quote Link to comment
Bruin Fisher
This is a story to make you smile. Camy's right, you can't say much about it without giving away the fun of reading it, so just go read! Quote Link to comment
Lugnutz
Nice story. Didn't see the end coming. Quote Link to comment
Gee Whillickers
As many of you know, I love stories with a twist, and this one provided that in spades. Very well done, The anxiety the protagonist goes through, tempered with his so-realistic minor frustrations at his dad's pet names for him was just perfectly done. Thanks. Quote Link to comment
The Pecman
Ah, that did surprise me. Good job, Altimexis. Quote Link to comment
Guest Dabeagle
Reminded me of a skit I saw years ago about a family living in San Francisco. That was fun, thanks. Quote Link to comment
