Lugnutz
It cramps my style. Not near as easy as it looks. Link to comment

Guest Dabeagle
I'm confused as to why the hockey player went into ballet? A challenge? He wondered if he could do it? Link to comment
Cole Parker
I think he said he wanted to dance. Don't you just love kids with that much personality? C Link to comment
dude
Pasquale is apparently an avid video blogger in Montreal. He is a plucky kid with tons of personality and I found his taking up the challenge, learning something new and making new friends to be admirable. Also, the video was very entertaining. I don't expect he'll become a professional ballet dancer, but you have to appreciate his open-mindedness and willingness to try anything! Mike Link to comment
Lugnutz
I was thinking about this today wondering if this was some sort of punishment for wrong doing. Looks like I was wrong. Link to comment
Cole Parker
Perhaps Canada is more open-minded about boys doing ballet training. At his age, here, there's no doubt there'd be comments from his age group. I too love the fact he was interested and didn't pay any attention to any naysaying. A boy with a mind of his own. Chris James
We all know that ballet is as physically demanding as any sport. This kid certainly has courage, but perhaps he will develop stronger muscles from the experience and use them on the ice when he plays hockey. What a great personality. Link to comment
Camy
At the grand old age of six I briefly had ballet lessons. It wasn't pretty. I have no idea what my mother was thinking and, probably, neither did she. Link to comment

Guest Dabeagle
I have seen a picture of our Emu as a youth - I think it would have been most stimulating to have seen him in tights! Link to comment
Jeff Ellis
Absolutely delightful. I liked the way his sporting talent and wish to succeed translated across into what was clearly for him an alien culture. The other thing that intrigued me was the locker-room conversation between the two boys, where they referred to what they were doing as "sport-dancing" and/or "sport-ballet". Clearly in Canada dance is being made more palatable for tough kids by treating it as a sport. Way to go Canada! Link to comment
