Graeme
A fascinating story and an intriguing setting. I'll have to go read that other story mentioned sometime soon. One of the things I enjoyed was the little touch of Kass using his island skills to make himself a bed for the night...and then setting the alarm on his watch. The collision of cultures somehow made the story so much more real. As for exactly what happened, who cares. I hope the boys do well and maybe we'll see then again in some of those future stories that Nigel mentioned Quote Link to comment
Bruin Fisher
Drumming is a great story, evocative of island life and culture. Very enjoyable. Quote Link to comment
colinian
It's not often that we get a Halloween story that is based on a believable fantasy. By "believable" I don't mean that it's true, just that we believe that the residents of the island believe it's true. Does that make sense? Great story, happy ending, perfect! Cole Parker
Very moving story that was written so we could feel the island's atmosphere and dark past. Fantasy brought to life. Well done, Nigel. C Quote Link to comment
Lugnutz
Anything is possible. I liked the end where the island protects it's own. Quote Link to comment
