The latest scam for me was from PA Turnpike Commission stating that I owned them money for using the turnpike. Now I do have an account with them so I went to check on it thru my own link to them. Upon reaching the homepage, I found that the State was already aware of the scam. My biggest clue that it was a scam was the fact that I haven't used the Turnpike in over a year.

GA is on its own dedicated server so it might depend on the time of day you go. As I reply here, there was 46 members on along with 266 guests. A lot of traffic can slow a site down. My site shares a server with other sites so that can sometimes slow things down for me.

It's fine for me at the moment. Sometimes it can be the server responding slowly. One day last week, I couldn't access my own website including both my control panels and webmail. I couldn't get to Gay Authors and I couldn't get to Invision Power Board to contact them to find out what was going on. That lasted most of the morning. I had not problem getting here to AD. Sometimes, all I need to do is reboot my cable modem and that usually takes care of the problem.

I think we have a definite winner here.

I'll agree with you on that. You know it's bad when as soon as you put on your sunglasses and the steam up immediately a eight in the morning.

In my area of the East Coast, it's been a roller coaster ride this summer. Its ranged from the 70's to the 90's. So far in July we've only had 2 heat waves, that is 3 consecutive days or more of 90 degrees.

It's been over two years now since I've heard anything from Jamie. He did say at that time that he was writing. I heard thru a third party in November 2013 that he was still around.

Montgomery County will begin issuing marriage licenses today, 5/28/14. The reason for the ban to begin with was the County Clerk started issuing the licenses before it was legal to.

Here in Montgomery County Pa, we're waiting for the state to lift the paper work preventing the County from issuing marriage licenses. When it first became law, the County issued 100 licenses before being stopped by the State.

Pennsylvania is now the 19th member of the club.

Growing up in Indiana, I wasn't fond of Daylight Saving Time. What kid wants to go to bed at 9:30 pm when the sun is still out? It's taken me a long time to get used to the sun setting at 4:30 pm on the east coast compared to 5:30 pm in the mid-west during the winter. Surprisingly, my two atomic clocks both changed this time. Last year, it took them a week to get the correct signal to change. BTW, last week on the news, they kept saying it is Daylight Saving Time and not Daylight Savings Time. We're supposedly saving time.

Since I've moved to the Philly area back in 1992, I've experienced quite a few tropical storms, hurricanes and Nor'easters. Including Igor, that flooded out the lowest section of Hershey Park. Having been born and raised in Indiana, I know all about lots of snow.

It's currently 2 degrees with a wind chill of -16 in my area this morning.
