  1. Hallo what? Oh, damn. Yes, erm, close. Almost. You're entirely forgiven for the cliffhanger. 8 was a super chapter. Nine, he bleats, NINE! Odd, but by the end of this post I now have quite a good idea for Halloween. Looks like I've been Parkered.
  2. You'll need a new merkin come the end. I'm having my beak polished in antici... ...pation.
  3. Ah ha ha! I knew it! Remember: nothing exists. We are all figments of our imagination. You will wake feeling happy, refreshed, and yearning for next Wednesday when it will probably be April 3rd, no matter when it is. Closer to the end of days (one of Arnie's better films).

Hmm. Do you think he'd add a recording studio on the back?
  5. You see a placeholder which, by the miracle of php, defaults to chapter 2. It's made UK headlines. There are '800,000 homes cut off, angering residents.' I'm not surprised!
  6. - Chapter 7. I jolly well hate cliffhangerettes. Apart from that, top notch!
  7. Like Anne Elk, I have a new theory. Ahem. It is this: Colin has a secret sideline working as marketing manager for Jack Bowen, the author of 'The Dream Weaver.'
  8. Now I've learnt block scheduling I won't have an excuse to miss All Hallows' Eve... though still confused if it's on an A or a Bidet. Pooch is not so sure; he's sitting in the garden howling at the lack of pumpkin. Rock on chapter 20!
  9. I'm super happy someone agrees with me. Thanks, m' bear.
  10. Well, Vladimir-Cole, what say you? Should we title the piece 'Waiting for Colin.'? My feet are sore and it's too muddy for comfort.
  11. Yep, I'd most definitely concur. It's difficult to critique an unfinished piece and I kind of regret some of the snarky comments I've left. Still, 'quite surreal' does some it up well. I have a feeling that 'The Dream Weaver' is important... but what do I know?
  12. OOOOOOO. Harsh! Um... Lewis Carol did it quite well. I think, as he's suing for a miniscule amount, he's hoping Apple pay him instead of going to court. C2
  13. He should have bought an Android. Easier to have a relationship with, and if they complain you just reboot them.
  14. I, on the other hand, was brought up with Enid Blyton's The Famous Five. I had a collection of hardbacks that I wish I still had as they're worth a lot now. Sadly, Blyton was somewhat shunned by English teachers, who sniffed at her prose. But damn, they were fun! The Comic Strip brought her back (whilst being sued by her estate) with a subverted pastiche 'Five Go Mad in Dorset', that's still one of the funniest things I've ever seen. So, may I present The Hardy Boys Flickering Torch Mystery, followed by The Comic Strip... enjoy.
  15. - Chapter 6. In this overly jaded world we're living in it's great to think there are adults like Mr Scott: kind, and without hidden agendas. That said, Derek/Jake/Nick seems very trusting. I'm not sure I'd be quite so laid-back if I knew I was being hunted by a killer. Jonesing for 7!
  16. Woof. I'm sure it'll all come right in the end, pooch. Grrrrrrrr. No, really it will. Woof woof woof, hooooowwwwl!!! Have faith. I do.
  17. - Chapter 5. I have questions and hopes... in no order: What scheduling system do they use at Prescott High? Did Ricco assassinate Kevin's family? I'm now panting (with a smidge of tongue lolling) for chapter 6.
  18. Chapter 19: I'm beginning to see the trees and the wood (but no Easter eggs).
  19. Yeah, but we've got The Guardians of the Galaxy™ on speed dial. Also, Thor is known for kicking Butt-Head ass (should be arse, but I'll be obliging).
  20. The Brontosaurus: Thin at one end, fat in the middle, and thin at the other end. Well... possibly? In a Pythonesque way one's life revolves around our friends and lovers. And Bronty, the oversized Pushmi-pullyu, had me at one end and you at t'other.
