Oliver, our very own fashion leader has certainly started something with the mismatched socks thing - the kids around here are all wearing mismatched socks, and I haven't said a word.

Cole and Camy - I'm so glad the story made you feel good. That's why I wrote it.

I wasn't too sure about the story when I first posted it, there are some loose ends that are not securely tied. For instance, the story ends with James still having only temporary fostering status. So I wrote a second part to it, tieing up some of those ends and progressing the story a little further. But it seemed wooden and forced and in uninteresting so I've never posted it. And I'm glad to see that people like it as it is, an no-one has mentioned the loose ends. Perhaps no-one noticed, or perhaps you're all just too nice to mention them, or perhaps you noticed and decided they didn't matter....
