Rutabaga
Another fine tale showcasing young men with pluck and cleverness. With a few surprises thrown in. But I laughed at the newcomer being named “Rosie,” as in Rosie Palm. Guess my mind never leaves the gutter. R Quote Link to comment
Gee Whillickers
This was fun. The dialogue between the twins was a hoot, as well as their interplay with their parents. As soon as the missing boy was mentioned it was clear that the boys would somehow be heavily involved in the whole thing, and sure enough they were, even more than I realized. The ending was great! Thanks for another great story, Cole. Quote Link to comment

Cole Parker
I loved the ending. If you can get the beginning and end right, much of the rest just happens. Quote Link to comment

I always start by writing the ending, then the rest normally takes care of itself. That is unless you did something totally stupid at the beginning which writes you into a corner, which I have done a couple of times. Quote Link to comment
Cole Parker
I like the beginning to have some snap to it to draw the reader in. If I read a page or two and am not entranced, I generally go do something else. Pulling weeds, washing the car, teasing the dog, that sort of thing. I think a captivating beginning is important.
