Camy
You simply can't go wrong with a Cole Parker tale. It doesn't matter which of his many stories you read--be it novel or short--with thrills and drama it'll ultimately hit the spot in a kind and caring way. Halloween from Hell doesn't break Cole's mold, but it pushes it in a new direction. He draws two very different sets of characters. The first, terrifying in a peculiarly odd 'The Hills Have Eyes' meet 'The Beverley Hillbilly's' kind of way, whilst the second set include the hero, Bobby: an unhappy, just outed, twelve year old. What he does with them is scary, yet a joy to read. So do! Link to comment
