It sounds silly, but I too find that true all the time.  Maybe it's just our brains have gone soft with age and our judgment isn't what it once was.  Don't some seniors start to like baby food?  When younger I thought that was about worst tasting thing going.  Now, I'm afraid to try it; I might like it and it would prove I'm gone over the hill.

Shall we start a support group: Seniors Against Baby food? I don't think I like it but I'm certainly not going to try it, just in case. At least we AD denizens have each other!

Seeing as I'm not a senior yet...I'll try baby food while I can still hate it without fear.

 

PS. I enjoyed the story as well, though I had never read it until a few hours ago.
