Can't see what the fuss is about - I've had one of these for ages. You just put a bootable version of Linux (Ubuntu is suitable) on any USB stick and put it in a reasonably up-to-date PC and boot it. So long as the BIOS supports booting from USB it'll work and you have a full set of apps and data on the USB stick which you can take with you anywhere and use (almost) any PC to access it. But it's a bit rich calling it a PC on your wrist...
