Cynus
Wow... The emotions that Lucien was going through in this story were very well captured, and I enjoyed experiencing every single one. This is one of the best reads I've had in a long time, and I was completely connected to Lucien throughout the whole ride. Link to comment

Camy
I really want to see the picture Sasha took, right before 'the end.' Link to comment
colinian
All you had to do is ask, Camy. It doesn't hurt to ask. And you did. Now let's see what kind of answer you get. Don't be too disappointed if you don't get an answer, or if you do and Sasha (or his agent) says, "Forget it!" Colin Link to comment

Rutabaga
Seriously, I do think this is quite a worthy follow-on to "Alec's Best Friend" and it wouldn't hurt for a reader to have tackled that one ahead of this one. Nor would it hurt to be familiar with Ryan Bartlett's recent stories that introduced other key characters. R Link to comment
Guest Dabeagle
I made notes to that effect, I think. Broken Hearted, The Preacher's Kid, Alec's Best Friend, Cowboy Up, and the next two are intricately tied together. Link to comment
JamesSavik
Lucien did a lot of growing up in this story. So did his big brother Smart Alec. Link to comment
Rutabaga
By the way, the picture at the top of the story is excellent. R Link to comment
Paul
Yep; I mentioned in email to Dabeagle that I admired they way he showed Alec maturing, but still remaining Alec, if you know what I mean. Alec's exchanges with his parents are priceless. Link to comment
Lugnutz
I really want to see the picture Sasha took, right before 'the end.' Hold my beer and watch this. Link to comment
