Bruin Fisher
Please go read this story: Cottonwood Creek Park It's a lovely, very emotional story from Cole which is beautifully written and with a very powerful emotional punch. The dilapidated condition of the eponymous park is a metaphor and Cole brings us to the didactic denouement piecemeal. I seem to have swallowed a dictionary, but this story is really good. Go read! Camy
I agree with Bruin. But then I'm an unabashed fan of Cole's work so it's not surprising. Cottonwood Creek Park is warm, human and very well written. Go and read it! Quote Link to comment
Gee Whillickers
I loved this story. A metaphor within a metaphor. As a standalone story it was wonderfully touching and heartwarming and the message behind the story carries a statement more important than any I can think of. Bravo Cole. Well done. Cole Parker
Thanks, guys. I really do appreciate the kudos. And while I often don't mention my editors, some of whom reside here, rest assured you are always near and dear to my heart, and my writing would suffer without you incredible assistance.
