It's a lovely, very emotional story from Cole which is beautifully written and with a very powerful emotional punch. The dilapidated condition of the eponymous park is a metaphor and Cole brings us to the didactic denouement piecemeal. I seem to have swallowed a dictionary, but this story is really good. Go read!

I loved this story. A metaphor within a metaphor. As a standalone story it was wonderfully touching and heartwarming and the message behind the story carries a statement more important than any I can think of.
