  1. Of course I will. Though we'll probably both be stone deaf by the time that happens.

    Pigsticking

Today I hate the world. Fecking women who drive small Nissans and who think they have the right to drive down the outside of a stationary line of traffic, and then cut in. I might have been vaguely amused if she'd been pretty, or if she'd have been a he, and cute. But nooooo. There was a thread in the news forum (which got well out of hand) that strayed into the rights and wrongs of gun control. All I have to say on the matter is that, with fecking Nissan tart, I suffered a serious amount of angst which verged on road rage. Had I had a gun - concealed or not - I might well have used it. Lucky it is I live in the UK. As it was I so so nearly rammed her. I'm normally mild mannered, but today I came very close to losing it.* My neighbour's on the list, too. Shan't go there, I've just got my blood pressure back to earth. Git. It's lovely weather, so I can't blame my mood on Seasonal Affective Disorder. I'm tempted to pack a bag and vanish. If I could morph the cat into a dog I might well, but cats don't like tramping the country: especially if they don't have a hot monitor to lie on top of. Hey ho, and life goes on. Camy * Falling Down
  3. this is what I want to get. http://www.turnkey.co.uk/product/digidesig...udio-interface/ http://www.digidesign.com/index.cfm?langid...amp;itemid=5025 *major drooling*
  4. Hahahahaha! I vented, too. Only I did it via the feedback form. I'm on absolute tenterhooks waiting for chapter 14 - what's a 'tenterhook' anyway, when it's at home? 'Here's Looking At You, Kid' is a wonderful story. Camy

  8. Having nothing better to do - it's not that I don't 'cause I do, but hell, if I don't make time for some plaintive whining, where would I be? So, yeah. M. The one I love. The one, this afternoon, I wanted to beat about the head with a wet kipper. We were rehearsing, as you do, and .... Oh, poop. What's the point. I'll find a fish monger in the morning. Night. Camy
  9. Sorry, Des, I have no idea. I use a soundblaster on my PC, which seems fine .... I also have a Logic Audio card which I use with Logic Platinum (software) on my Mac. I've never been near 5.1 surround. Camy
  10. I'd ... erm ... well ... I'm not sure if ... Oh, just go and read it yourselves. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/bristol/7234810.stm
  11. Thanks for the comments about 'Broken Heart'! As to SAD - Seasonal Affective Disorder. Yes, I know I suffer from it, but the weather - especially bleak cold with rain seems to exacerbate it.Bleak is the perfect descriptor for both the weather and my moods.Apparently there are people who suffer the opposite: RSAD or Reverse Seasonal Affective Disorder. They get the symptoms in summer! That I don't understand at all. I love LOVE summer. Long days, warm temperature. Even the rain in summer is wondrous.Ain't the human psyche an amazing thing?Wikipedia's SAD
  12. From Downing Street, London to Anchorage, Alaska. Boy can that Bunny hop!
  13. A new Tragic Rabbit Piece has appeared over at www.spoof.com! 'Boris Sulks: But I'm On Elton's Xmas List!' is a classic. Okay, I guess as it's just been published it's not a classic yet ... but one day! Get your copy HERE! Hmm ... perhaps he needs an agent? Bwahaha. Camy
  14. I'm marginally happier now since I finished www.camysgaff.com, and Codey's 'Broken Heart'. It's kind of strange that I worked harder on that song than I ever work on my own stuff. I know I'm genuinely lazy, but that - that recording - has shown me I can achieve more if I want to. Now all I need is a month in a proper studio and a band. Fat chance. My new short 'Gin' was almost finished when I showed it to a mate. Now: I'm ripping it apart and re-writing. I wanted to post it soon, but there it is. One day it'll see the light of day. I've had two shorts accepted for 'www.iomfats.org', which I'm chuffed about ... and the weather seems to be getting better, too. I don't know what it is about the weather that affects my moods, but Lord do I get depressed during the winter. Yes, yes, I know it's raining outside. I'm not that stupid. Ave. *shuffles off to write another line or two before tea*

    Me, Myself, I pt XXVI

I've heard it a gazillion times - I worked on the tour for that album. You do know she's gay?
  16. Trouble with your computer? Blue screen of DEATH? Vista fucking up ... again? Viruses snuck in with your pr0n? Your favourite site gone 404? Never fear, for apparently we have a Patron Saint! Slide off your chair, down on your knees, and send Saint Isidore of Seville a prayer. You never know .... Camy
  17. W00T! Nuff said ... will the hamsters and the transvestites be back?
  18. Cole missed that one! Raccoonteur would have been amusing. Ah well, *Aussie accent* 'the alliteration was beaut.' Ooops, nearly a thread hijack. Darkfall is definitely getting darker. I'm tempted to wait a few days and then catch up, as I think chapter 10 and the return of Karl Jr is going to be ... nasty. It's a captivating piece of writing.
  19. Umm. I had a reason to blog, but it seems to be escaping me at the moment. Most odd. Anyway ... so I found a box of Cassettes that had - once I dug an old cassette machine out of the loft and found a lead to attach it to the computer - some amazing AMAZING stuff on them. Like the rehearsal at Solid Light where I fell asleep over the drum kit in the middle of a song. Hmm, I suppose gouched out is closer to the truth: it was a long time ago. Then there are the first few recordings I made with M. Before we erm ... well, before he told me he umm ... loved me. Times and places are wonderful. I only wish I'd made a few more sensible decisions. Arse I am. When we were in Germany I recorded everything. I'd set up the desk, fire up the Atari and keyboards, plug in the guitar and ... what a load of crap! Though there are a few tracks I'm inordinately proud of. A few that have stood the test of time.
  20. Tangential wanderings aside, Darkfall is a cracking good read. Chapter 7 is posted.
