  1. Well? What was she having for dinner?Wait... Your partners a he? That means you're... Um ... Gosh.
  2. I was thinking of buying a laptop, however they all seem to come pre-loaded with Vista ... until now. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/6575089.stm Unfortunately Dell has a reputation for painfully bad after care.
  3. I'm so sorry. I know it seems trite, and pointless, but my thoughts are with you.
  4. Forty Five Pairs of Jeans!I am Gobsmacked ... and actually rather jealous.I have a pierced ear, but can never find a stud (bwahaha)I have ... three pairs of jeans, a few t-shirts, and one decent pair of trainers I wear for everything. And I never thought I'd be discussing my wardrobe on a blog. What is the world coming to.Good luck with the new apartment, and don't get into too much trouble!

    Ha ha ha

Hmm... Luckily Emu's run a lot faster than Racoons! And where's the bartender?
  6. Blimey! You're either all totally perverted, or just not getting enough ... and I don't require an answer.Ok, perhaps I do. So, um, how do you hump a blog? Is a flatscreen monitor essential, or will on old CRT do? And, is the bigger the better?

Advice by Camy When you're stoned, or late at night Don't write 'poetry' ... Because the 'poetry' you write will inevitably be shite
  9. How can they say 'possible' hate crime? I'm just incredibly thankful I've never been attacked because of my sexuality.
  10. Occasionally there are stories that you really wish you'd written yourself. For me, 'The God Eaters' is one. I'm not sure how I found it: a recommendation probably, though who or where I can't remember. Not that it matters. 'The God Eaters' is a future/science/fantasy-fic set in what could loosely be labelled the Wild West. Ashleigh Trine and Kieran Trevarde are rogue 'talents' who meet in jail. Ashleigh is an Empath and Kieran has other more powerful abilities. Well worth a read. http://chartreuse.studiowhippingboy.com/g_e_index.html Scroll to the top of the page to read on-line, or you can buy the book from Lulu. Jesse's comic 'Metanoia' is excellent too. http://metanoia.studiowhippingboy.com/metacontents.html
  11. I love science fiction. Especially the very English writing of John Wyndham. You'd probably know him for titles like 'The Day of the Triffids', 'The Chrysalids' and 'The Trouble with Lichen'. He died in 1961. Very sad. Anyway, I'd just discovered that some of Wyndham's work was available on-line, and had finished reading a short story called 'Consider her ways', when lo and behold I stumbled upon a story by Drake Hunter called 'Through Different Eyes'. Go and read it, it's brilliant!
  12. Me three. I can't remember how I stumbled across Driver's work, but I'm pretty sure 'The Quarry' was one of the very first pieces of on-line fiction I ever read. I think I might have been shocked! 'Falling off a Log' appealed hugely, as finding a Major Rock Star living incognito next door - with a recording studio underneath their barn - is a wistfully fond daydream I often have. Then, of course, there is plan A to D, and the poignantly brilliant 'Sudden Storm'. Though I have no idea why it happened, I really wish Driver hadn't been run off. He's one very talented man.

I'm totally inane. and probably insane too.Anyway, I'm wondering how you make a blog. Does it come flat-packed, with a terrible instruction leaflet in Swedish? Or do you require four paper towel tubes with lots of paint and glue? Or....Enquiring minds need to know.
  14. I've never had TR in the forums I've never had TR anywhere I'm soooo terribly jealous, Jason It warrants a warrigal's glare

    Windows Vista?

Yep, now it all becomes clear, and very funny, too! Here are some people having fun on Bill's final resting place: post revolution, and Microsoft's demise... We're still allowed to dream...
  16. http://www.metro.co.uk/metrosexual/article...mp;in_page_id=8 Ouch!

    Some stuff.

I had a suit once, many moons ago. I have a mild phobia when it comes to buying clothes - no idea why. Consequently underwear, socks, and the occasional pair of jeans, I buy, other stuff I get given; or nab off friends.
  18. I can't express how confused I am. Oh ... I just did.
  19. Nope, come the day I'll happily jack in.

Make sure it doesn't include learning to walk in a plaster cast.
  21. I think that was the point. A lot of people now live their lives on-line and treat reality as an annoying intrusion.
  22. Fabulous, truly fabulous! Even though I had to look up ithyphallic, and I didn't know that was how coccyx was spelt, this was a wonderfully mellifluous read - indeed! Thanks for sharing, Mr. Rabbit.
  23. After a bit of a struggle I got an A. Admittedly I had to look up Morpheme, and the correct usage of a hyphen.
