Science Goes to Great Lengths to Measure Average Penis Size

Recommended Posts

Years ago I had a conversation with two women who assured me that size matters, at least from their perspective. It reminded me of the porn video I saw of John Holmes having sex with a young lady. The man's penis was legendary in length and many thought to envy him. But if they had seen the video they would understand that he could use just over half of that whopper during the filmed sexual encounter.

I suppose this holds true for men and women, there is only so much depth to be plumbed and then anatomy gets in the way. So if the average is around six inches then having twelve inches gains a man nothing because he can't use it all. At this point it becomes the skill of the user and how the length they have is applied. But I understand the science, men lie about the size, but they don't have too.

I find it interesting that this research seems to keep cropping up about every ten years or so. It seems to run on a cycle, A definitive article is published on the average penis size, then there is a quite period, then someone questions the findings so a lot of doctors go out and start doing a lot penis measurements publishing their findings, then somebody collects all the surveys together and publishes a definitive article, so we start all over again. One starts to wonder if this is an excuse for doctors to go out measuring penises?

I really wonder about men who volunteer for this. If someone tapped me on the shoulder and asked, "Hey, mate, do you mind if I measure your tallywacker, and could you get it nice and hard for me?" I think I'd hold him for the men in white coats to come for him; I'd be sure they'd have been called by then.

I don't think there's any way to get an average of all men. And why did this study seem to ignore Asian men, or Peruvian ones for that matter? How is that accumulating meaningful data? Wouldn't we all like to know how we compare to Peruvians?

In fact, I'd guess this is only meaningful if you allow it to be. But I think they did this for reasons other than science. I've always heard the average erect adult male penis was 6", and this study found it to be smaller than that. Makes you wonder who funded the study, and why. Are we shrinking? Or would someone like us to think we are?

I read once where a length of 7-1/4 inches was deemed necessary to practice autofelatio successfully. I suspect this depends on the build and the flexibility of the individual.

Most of my experience has me reaching the conclusion that 99% of men have an adequate length to satisfy their partner/s even if they fall short of the above inches.

Oh, and yes, there is such a thing as being too big, but I don't have to worry about that.

A man sees a dog licking his penis.

He says: "I wish I could do that!"

His friend replies: "Better not; that's a vicious dog and he would bite you if you tried to lick him."

A variant:
A man sees his own pet German shepherd licking his penis.

He says: "I wish I could do that!"

His friend replies: "Go ahead; he's your dog."

Hey Cole, I think the boy has talents that only an infantesimal fraction of 1% of men possess. Gads, how can a guy do that shit. It hurts just watching him, even if it is fascinating. LOL

Having read trough several of the studies, they seem to be fairly in line that the average flaccid is 7-10 cm and erect 12-16 cm., as reported again in the latest study. [http://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/271647.php] The average in online locker room stories, however, seems to replace "cm." with "in." at which point I close the story and go somewhere else. As a friend once asked me, "Where the hell are they measuring from?

On the other hand, a story in today's news indicated one person whose size was most likely a personal disappointment, and perhaps had certain unforeseen side effects. [http://fttp://www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/hitler-penis_us_56cb1beee4b0928f5a6c6ff9] Could Viagra have saved the world?

Damn! I never thought about doing that! What a great idea!

I'll have to use this in a story: Two 13 year old boys are talking. "How long is yours, Jason?" Rob asked. "It's the same size as my age!" "Yeah, sure! So show me!" "As if, perv!"
